Why I became an I P Rep.

In June, 2010, I received some sobering news from my doctor at my annual physical check up. I knew that I had always had high cholesterol and high blood sugar. Also, since my athletic days, I have been consistently 25 – 35 lbs overweight. In the past, whenever I lost weight, I would gain it right back. My doctor told me that my blood sugar was so high that I was one step away from being a Type 2 diabetic. He immediately prescribed metformin. He said that this was a drug that would “fool my pancreas” into releasing less insulin into my system. He also prescribed a Statin drug to lower my cholesterol. I would have to take them for the rest of my life. My wife, had heard of a protein protocol called IDEAL PROTEIN that would re-set my pancreas to adjust the harmful bursts of fat bearing insulin. Theoretically this would correct my symptoms of pre-diabetes, and cause significant weight loss. Was I interested? Of course. I was skeptical, but gave it a try. After five weeks, I had lost my goal weight of 25 lbs. and it was time to re-test my blood. My doctor was amazed. I was back to being well within the normal ranges for blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure. I have to admit that the first three days were tough, while my system got used to no pasta, no bread, and no cookies, but I can hardly remember that now. I don’t crave them anymore.
